Two burnt in boiler blast in Rawalpindi

A massive fire erupted, and two people were burned when a boiler exploded in a feed mill in Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The incident occurred in Saghari Mor in Rawat. The injured persons were later identified as Abdul Rahim, 22, and Saddam was 15.

Soon after receiving the report, the Rescue 1122 team rushed to the spot and shifted the severely burnt persons to the Holy Family Hospital in Rawalpindi.

A spokesman of the Rescue 1122 department said that the fire erupted due to excess pressure in the pipeline.

Earlier in September 2025, a 50-year-old woman was reportedly burnt alive after being doused with kerosene, allegedly by her brother-in-law in the Dhamial area, police said.

The police have arrested the suspect and registered a murder case against him. Initially, the accused claimed the incident was caused by a compressor explosion, but after the police launched an investigation, it was revealed that the woman had been set on fire two days earlier in Dhamial.
