Students stage protest against ‘irregularities’ in results

MDCAT students were protesting against the alleged irregularities in the results as several students scored more numbers than the actual total, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In one case, a student got 51 numbers out of a total of 20 marks in an English paper.
MDCAT students are outside the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) building in Islamabad to press for their demands. Surprisingly, many students got more than the total numbers.
Students alleged that they have received the wrong results via email and demanded a re-test.
Students vowed to continue their protest till their demands would are met.
Islamabad Police had arrested 20 protesting doctors who allegedly entered the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) building in G-10 Sector on Tuesday.
Police used lathi-charge and tear-gas against the protesting doctors who allegedly hurled stones at the PMC building.
Later, after successful negotiation with the Islamabad administration, the arrested doctors were released.
