NCOC extends Covid-19 restrictions in 24 districts of Punjab, Islamabad, KPK

The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has extended the Coronavirus restrictions in the 24 most-affected districts of Punjab, Islamabad, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reported 24News HD TV channel on Thursday.
The NCOC issued a notification of restrictions till September 15. According to the notification, the restrictions have been extended to 24 districts till September 15. All types of gatherings will be banned in 24 districts till September 15. Restrictions on public transport will remain in place until September 15. All indoor and outdoor gatherings will be completely banned. Educational institutions will remain closed for a week under the August 28 notification.
In a Tweet, NCOC notified that the next meeting of the NCOC would be held on September 15 to review the situation.

Meanwhile, all gatherings will be banned in 24 districts until September 15. Restrictions on educational institutions, gyms, public transport will remain in place until September 15, the notification said. All indoor and outdoor gatherings will be completely banned. However, the educational institutions in sensitive districts will be open 3 days a week with 50% attendance. The notification said that the NCOC is constantly monitoring Corona and the medical situation.
The NCOC advised all the federating units of the country to ensure the implementation of Corona SOPs.
