Petrol price increased by Rs3.40, diesel Rs6.72 per litre

The government has increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel, with petrol becoming dearer by Rs3.40 per litre and diesel by Rs6.72 per litre.

Following the increase, the price of petrol has been fixed at Rs367.75 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel has been set at Rs392.67 per litre.

The increase in petroleum prices is expected to raise transportation and other costs, potentially putting additional pressure on consumers.
