Professor of Peace and Conflict Research Ashok Swain has exposed Hindu supremacists showing off power and hate-mongering against Muslims.

Hindu supremacists in Siwan, India, are taking a bulldozer procession to celebrate Ram Navami, Ashoke Swain tweets, adding that Bulldozers have become the symbol of power and hate by Hindu supremacists as the regime in India often uses bulldozers to demolish Muslim houses.

Last year, an uproar broke out in a US town as Hindus brought bulldozers to parade as they marked Indian Independence Day in Edison –  a town of about 110,000 people in New Jersey.

Reportedly, more than 17.75 per cent of Edison residents identified themselves as Indian Americans. This was the highest percentage of Indian-American people of any municipality in the United States and the city’s mile-long commercial belt is called Little India.

The residents bemoaned the bulldozer rally, calling it a condemnable act of hate-mongering and showing off the power.
