A one-and-a-half-year-old girl was murdered Thursday allegedly after rape at Ahmadal area in Pindi Gheb tehsil of Attock district, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, the body of the little girl was recovered from a local dam.

The parents of the girl had come from Kurram Agency in search of some livelihood, and they were residing temporarily in Ahmedal area.

The deceased was identified as Nadila Bibi. She went missing after she went after her mother outside the house.

The police registered a case against seven accused on the complaint of a close relative of the girl.

The police also arrested the accused and started investigation.
