A District and Sessions Court of Islamabad Thursday ordered to send Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senator Azam Swati to jail on a 14-day judicial remand in controversial tweet case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Shabbir Bhatti accepted the request of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in the case and directed Azam Swati to appear before the court on December 15 next.

“We have completed the investigation, and no further investigation is required,” the FIA had told the court and requested it to send Azam Swati on judicial remand before the culmination of his physical remand.

The physical remand of Azam Swati with the FIA was to complete on Saturday next.

The judicial magistrate had granted a four-day physical remand till December 3.
