In a significant development in Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway corruption scandal, NAB Karachi on a tip-off by prime accused Ashiq Kaleeri, raided his house and recovered Rs300 million cash, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

As per reports Ashiq Kaleeri had been working as personal secretary to former Sindh law minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar. However, Ziaul Hassan Lanjar said he had no relation with Ashiq Kaleeri.

Previously, a NAB team, on a tip-off given by Ashiq Kaleeri, had recovered Rs140 million.

Zia Lanjar said his personal secretary’s name was Shahab Mallah. He said linking Ashiq Kaleeri with him was unfair.
