FIA Lahore nabs two human traffickers

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Cell Lahore has apprehended two suspects on charges of extorting money from gullible people on the pretext of sending them abroad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Cell Lahore inspector Waqar Awan arrested an absconder Mian Amjad from Sheikhupura who was wanted by the agency in different human trafficking cases. The officials also recovered some Pakistani passports from his possession.
In the second operation, agent Simpson Tariq, who extorted Rs 2.4 million from one person claiming to send him to New Zealand for employment, has been held from Lahore.
Both accused were wanted by FIA and went into hiding after receiving the money.
