The American dollar has scored a gain of 30 paisas against the Pakistani rupee during trading in the open market on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the Exchange Companies Association, after the latest increase, the dollar closed at Rs160.30.

Meanwhile, the Euro took a hit against the Pakistani currency and it closed on Rs195 after a drop of 50 paisas.

British pound was also up by 50 paisas and was trading at Rs217.50.
