An investment of up to one billion dollars is expected from Saudi Arabia in the Rekodiq Copper-Gold Project located in the Chagai district of Balochistan province of Pakistan.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel report, Saudi Arabia is expected to invest in this project next month for which the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is trying to remove obstacles.

For Saudi investment, the Prime Minister will form a committee of the Ministry of Finance, which will include all stakeholders from Pakistan.

After this investment, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will sign agreements to invest more in the mining sector in the country.

This investment will pave the way for more foreign investment in the country and help achieve the mandate of the SIFC.
