A man’s celebratory firing on New Year’s night in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat area took the life of his younger brother, reported 24NewsHD TV on Saturday.

The police believed the youngster was killed accidentally (in aerial firing) by the elder brother.

According to the police, the two brothers were resorting to firing in the air on the roof of their house. During the activity, 19-year-old Mayasim was suddenly hit by a bullet in the head.

He was rushed to General Hospital in a critical condition but could not survive. Police arrested the elder brother.
