Relatives placed the body of a baby on road in Shahdara to protest the death allegedly from administering an injection by a quack at a private hospital, 24 NewsHD  TV Channel reported on Thursday.

The father of three-month-old Farhan said that he took him to a private hospital as he had a stomach issue.

He alleged that a quack administered an injection to the child who died in front of him.

The death drew ire among the relatives who took the body to a road and blocked the vehicular traffic.

Some of angry protesters reached the clinic and starting hurling stones at it, shattering its windowpanes.

A heavy contingent of police reached the spot.
