Alizeh Shah slams ‘Small Male Ego’ after on-set drama
Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah has stirred conversation online after sharing a unsettling experience with a co-actor on set, opening up about what she described as “small male ego” behaviour.
Taking to Instagram stories, the actress narrated the incident in a video, choosing not to name the individual but revealing enough details to leave fans both shocked and intrigued.
According to Alizeh, things initially went smoothly during the first few days of shooting, with a friendly atmosphere and light hearted jokes between cast members.
However, she explained that the tone gradually shifted when the jokes started becoming offensive, prompting her to distance herself and keep interactions strictly professional.
She recounted a particularly intense incident during filming when the co-actor placed his foot on hers with noticeable force while the camera was rolling.
Despite her attempts to pull away and continue her dialogue, she claimed he did not move, forcing her to stop mid-scene.
The situation escalated further when, in another scene requiring her to tap his shoulder, he refused physical contact and asked her to touch something else instead.
Alizeh suggested that the behaviour was intentional, linking it to her decision to stop engaging with his offensive humour.
Wrapping up her statement, she didn’t hold back, remarking that such reactions reflect a “very small ego,” and adding bluntly that “men need to grow up.”
Her statement has sparked mixed reactions online, with many praising her for speaking up about uncomfortable workplace behaviour, while others debated the dynamics she described.
