Pir Farid-ul-Haq Shah Gilani laid to rest in Golra Sharif

Funeral prayers were offered for Pir Farid-ul-Haq Shah Gilani, son of the custodian of Golra Sharif, Islamabad, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday. 

The nimaz-e-jinaza, led by the deceased's father, Pir Moin-ud-Din Shah Gilani, the sajjada nasheen (custodian) of the revered shrine, had drawn a large gathering of religious and political figures.   

A significant number of followers, religious scholars, and political personalities attended the funeral to pay their last respects.

Authorities had put in place stringent security arrangements at the venue to ensure the smooth conduct of the funeral prayers.
