An improvised explosive device (IED) exploded on a police vehicle in Kulachi, an area of Dera Ismail Khan (DIK) District on Wednesday.
According to the Pak Army’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Quick Reaction Force immediately reached and cordoned off the incident site.
Meanwhile, a fire exchange took place between the security forces and terrorists. Resultantly two terrorists got killed, and weapons and ammunition were recovered from their custody.
Locals of the area appreciated the operation of the Pak army and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the area.
