The finance department Wednesday released Rs4 billion in subsidies to Orange Line Train and Metro Bus in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the official sources, the subsidy will cover the salaries and other expenses of the Orange Line Train and Metro Bus employees.

The passengers, travelling on Orange Line Train and Metro Bus, will get subsidy in fares.

The finance department has released Rs4 billion of the first quarter.
