Weather to remain hot, humid with rain forecast for some areas

Weather in most parts of the country is likely to remain hot and humid; nevertheless, some areas in every province, and the districts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), are expected to receive rain with strong winds and thunderstorms, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

Islamabad Weather

Weather in Islamabad is expected to remain hot and humid. However, heavy winds and thundershowers are likely at some places in Islamabad, according to the Meteorological Department.

Punjab Weather

Weather is expected to remain humid and hot in most districts of Punjab, according to the Meteorological Department.

However, areas including Potohar region, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Lahore, Vehari, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan and Rahim Yar Khan are likely to receive rain with strong winds and thundershowers.

Balochistan Weather

Weather is expected to remain hot and humid in most districts of Balochistan, according to the Meteorological Department.

However, heavy winds and thundershowers are expected at some places including Zhob, Barkhan, Awaran, Washuk, Kharan, Kalat, Panjgur, Kech, Khuzdar and Lasbela.

Similarly, heavy rain is also expected at some places in Lasbela, Awaran, Kharan, Khuzdar and Kalat.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Weather

Most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to remain hot and humid, according to the Meteorological Department.

However, heavy rain and thundershowers are expected in Dir, Swat, Chitral, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Buner, Mardan, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, Waziristan and Kurram.

AJK & GB Weather

In Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), areas including Bhimber, Kotli, Mirpur, Sudhanoti, Poonch, Bagh, Haveli, Hattian Bala, Muzaffarabad and Neelum valley are likely to receive rain with strong winds and thundershowers, according to the Meteorological Department.

In Gilgit-Baltistan, weather is expected to remain cloudy with thundershowers at some places.

Sindh Weather

Weather is expected to remain hot and humid in most districts of Sindh, according to the Meteorological Department.

However, in areas including Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpur Khas, Badin, Sujawal, Thattha, Sanghar, Khairpur and Tando Allahyar, there is a possibility of rain with strong winds and thunderstorm.

Rain with strong winds and thunderstorm is also likely in Tando Muhammad Khan, Matiari, Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu, Hyderabad and Karachi.

Heavy rain is also expected at some places in Tharparkar, Hyderabad, Umerkot, Mirpur Khas, Badin, Sujawal, Thattha, Sanghar, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Jamshoro, Khairpur and Karachi.
