Hearing of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s petition for the restoration of his right to defence in the Toshakhana reference would not be held today as Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Justice Aamer Farooq is on leave due to bad health, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The cause list of all cases of the IHC CJ has been cancelled.
Issuing notice to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on the last hearing, the high court had directed it to file its reply in the case today.
It is worth-mentioning here that before the IHC could give its verdict, a trial court gave its decision in the case.
The same court had stripped the PTI chairman of his right to defence in the case.
