Youth brokering peace between rivals murdered in Jhelum

An 18-year-old youth was stabbed to death over an attempt to reconcile two rival groups, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to police, Allah Ditta came to reconcile two groups of youths fighting each other when accused Wahab stabbed him to death.

The accused escaped the scene after committing the crime. Kala Gujran police registered a case against the accused, and they also launched a search for his arrest.

Wahab committed the crime at the behest of his sister, the text of the FIR read.

The police took the body of the deceased youth into custody and collected the evidence.

“The accused will be arrested soon and brought to justice,” police said.
