Hafiz Naeem says JI will continue to raise its voice for public rights

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that JI men, women and children have given huge public service by taking to the streets against inflation and electricity prices, reported 24NewsHD Tv channel.
Addressing the workers in Rawalpindi to mark the success of JI’s accord with the government, Hafiz Naeeem said that JI always stood up for public rights. He said it was a great achievement of JI workers that the government ministers agrteed to their demands and signed an accord with Jamaat. He said the government finally admitted that IPPs was a major issue of the country.
He pledged that JI will continue to raise voice for public rights.
He said the government wanted to work with oral assurances but JI compelled the government to a written agreement. He said the government agreed to the audit of the IPPs. And all details will be made public.
Hafiz Naeem said that the next agenda of JI will be to launch a movement against IMF.
JI chief said the government has sought 45 days to implement its agreement. If the government failed to accept their demand, JI will again reach Islamabad.
