One killed, five injured in Shikarpur clan clash

In the outskirts of Shikarpur’s Nowshero Abro village, a violent clash between the Jatoi and Brohi communities over a longstanding land dispute left one man dead and five others injured, police said Sunday.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the deceased was identified as Mohabbat Narejo. 

Police authorities reported that both sides remain armed and entrenched, with intermittent gunfire still being exchanged, raising fears of further casualties.

The injured and the body have been moved to a nearby hospital, while police reinforcements are on their way to prevent further bloodshed. Investigations are underway.
