PMS Secretariat to discuss ADCR Sanghera's arrest tomorrow

A meeting will be held at the PMS Secretariat on Monday on the issue of Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Muhammad Iqbal Sanghera, who was arrested earlier this week by the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) in a corruption case.

A judicial magistrate in Lahore extended the physical remand of Sanghera this week.

A team of ACE men produced Sanghera before the court on expiry of his previous remand and sought his physical remand for further investigation.

Magistrate Bushra Anwar accepted the request and extended Sanghera’s remand for four more days. The magistrate directed the ACE to produce the suspect again on Aug 11.
