Two killed, 14 wounded in bus, trailer collision in R.Y Khan
Two passengers were killed while 14 others were seriously injured due to a collision between a bus and a trailer in Rahim Yar Khan on Sunday, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.
The bus, carrying fifty passengers, was heading to Karachi from Swat, and the trailer, which was loaded with wood, was going to Karachi.
Drivers of both vehicles, however, escaped from the scene.
Soon after learning about the incident, Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured persons to Sheikh Zayed Hospital.
Rescue sources said that the deceased were identified as Farhan Shah, aged 26, a resident of Malakand and bus conductor Bilal, who was 35 years old.
Later, the Motorway police removed the bus and trailer from the road and opened it for normal traffic.
The injured persons who are admitted in the hospital include Abdullah 22, Haris 23, Shahid 41, Sajjad 32, Joti 35, Naureen 14, Walayat Bibi 30, Nahaiyat Bibi 35, Waqas 12, Muzammil 10, Alizeh 6, Riaz 45, Kamran 25 and Rab Nawaz was 50 year old.
The hospital administration said that all those injured are out of danger and best possible medical facilities are being provided to them.
