Bushra Ansari says story she shared on podcast had nothing to do with Syra, Shahroz
Veteran actress Bushra Ansari has addressed the rumours surrounding her comments, making it clear that the story she shared during a podcast was not about actor Shahroz Sabzwari and his former wife, actress Syra Yousuf.
In one of her up-to-date vlogs, Bushra explained that the story she had mentioned was actually about friends of hers who work in the banking sector and had nothing to do with the showbiz industry.
She expressed frustration over media pages attaching Syra and Shahroz’s names and pictures to her comments.
Bushra also had nothing but praise for Syra, describing her as a “decent girl” and insisting that the situation she had discussed did not apply to the actress.
She questioned the practice of turning general conversations into sensational stories simply for views and attention.
The veteran actress went on to say that she would never speak negatively about her close friends or their families, calling out what she described as the unnecessary “fasad” (disorder) created by certain media outlets.
Syra Yousuf and Shahroz Sabzwari were married in 2012 and have a daughter, Nooreh, together.
The couple parted ways in 2020 but have continued to maintain a cordial relationship while co-parenting their daughter.
