GB assembly welcomes Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey defence cooperation

Gilgit Baltistan Assembly has unanimously passed a resolution welcoming the defence cooperation and mutual security commitment between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

The resolution was presented by four assembly members, including Gilgit Baltistan Interior Minister Haji Muhammad Dilpazir and Opposition Leader Hafeez-ur-Rehman.

The members welcomed the Makkah Defence Agreement and described it as a reflection of the long standing relations, mutual trust and shared security interests among the three countries.

The resolution stated that defence and strategic cooperation among the brotherly Islamic countries could help promote peace, stability and security in the region.

The Gilgit Baltistan Assembly called for further strengthening relations and cooperation between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
