Overall rate of inflation comes down to 18.58 percent

The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) has released its weekly inflation report, the overall rate of inflation in the country has come down to 18.58 percent, reported 24NewsHD TV on Friday.
Inflation for the lowest-income earners stood at 19.71 percent, down 0.07 percent from the previous week.
In the last one week, 19 items have become more expensive.
The price of dal masoor increased by Rs6.18 per kilogram (kg).
The price of dal mash has gone up by Rs7.7 per kg.
The price of dal chana has gone up by Rs4.20 per kg.
The price of dal moong became more expensive at Rs3.85 per kg
In recent weeks, ghee has become more expensive by Rs2.34 per kg
Onion, milk, yogurt, garlic, rice, beef also became more expensive within one week.
Prices of nine items decreased in one week.
The price of chicken has come down by Rs24.71 per kg.
Tomatoes became cheaper by Rs13.15 per kg.
The average price of sugar in the country has come down to Rs91.39 per kg
A 20 kg bag of flour became cheaper by Rs5.41.
Prices of potatoes, LPG and gur also declined in a week, according to the statistics
Meanwhile, in the recent week, prices of 23 items remained stable.
