PIA resumes flights to Turbat from Karachi

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Tuesday announced resumption of its flight operations from Karachi to Turbat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The national carrier already included flights from Karachi to Turbat in its weekly rostrum starting from December 16, 2024.

Initially, the PIA will operate two flights in a week – one on Monday and the other on Wednesday – while PIA administration is also considering to strengthen its operations on Turbat and Gwadar routes.

Earlier, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) notified to start flight operations to Europe from January 10, 2024.  after European Union authorities lifted a four-year ban on the carrier.

In a statement from PIA, which was at the centre of a pilot licence scandal, said a “PIA first flight will depart from Islamabad to Paris on January 10. Initially, two flights will be operated weekly [on Friday and Sunday], which will gradually be increased.”
