Shaheen Afridi joins elite club with 100 T20I wickets

Pakistan’s pace sensation Shaheen Shah Afridi has reached a significant milestone in his T20I career, becoming the third Pakistani bowler to claim 100 wickets in the format. 

Afridi achieved this feat during the first T20I against South Africa at Kingsmead, Durban, on Tuesday.

Returning impressive figures of 3-22, Afridi joined teammates Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf in the exclusive 100-wicket club for Pakistan. 

He is now the 19th bowler in international cricket and the eighth fast bowler to achieve this landmark in T20Is.

The ongoing three-match series against South Africa will continue with the second T20I at Centurion on December 13, followed by the final match in Johannesburg on December 14.

After concluding the T20I series, Pakistan and South Africa will face off in a three-match ODI series.
