PM aide sheds light on foreign investment potential in Pakistan

Special Assistant to PM on Petroleum Nadeem Babar has said Pakistan has a huge potential for foreign investors in oil and gas sector.
He was talking to Canadian High Commissioner Wendy Gilmour who called on him Monday. They exchanged views on increasing cooperation in petroleum sector.
Nadeem Babar said Pakistan can benefit from experience and skills of Canada.
He informed the Canadian envoy that the government devised multi-pronged strategy to promote investment by providing favourable environment to investors, especially the foreigners.
He offered Canadian people to invest in oil and gas sector.
He also talked about government’s plan to go for renewable energy resources
Wendy Gilmour said that several Canadian companies are interested in investment and want to extend their businesses in Pakistan. She also assured support for the Pakistan efforts to promoting investment in different fields.
