Saudi Arabia bars Pakistan govt from receiving Hajj applications
Minister Noorul Haq says it seems Hajj will not be normal this year too
Federal Minister for Haj and Religious Affairs Dr Noorul Haq Qadri on Wednesday said that the government of Saudi Arabia has asked Pakistan not to receive Haj applications from intending pilgrims yet, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He further said entering into talks with any airlines would be useless until the government established the actual number of pilgrims. “No MoU is signed with the Saudi government regarding Hajj so far,” he added.
Talking to the media after distributing certificates among seminary students in Islamabad, the federal minister maintained that the government was aware of the concerns among the public.
Responding to a question, he said Maulana Fazlur Rehman is a political person and he sacrifices everything on politics. “Prime Minister Imran Khan’s predictions are now coming true,” he added.
