Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) Senator Fida Muhammad Khan has announced he will file a defamation suit against ex-MPA Ubaidullah Mayar.

The former lawmaker accused the senator of being involved in horse-trading in the Senate elections.

Ubaidullah levelled baseless allegations, Fida said, adding that he would bring him to book for bringing shame to the party.

He said the leaked video clearly showed Ubaid and PTI chief Imran Khan ousted 20 members after an inquiry found them guilty.

Fida said transparency is Imran Khan’s vision and he is Imran soldier. The senator said he would take legal action against Ubaidullah.

A leaked video showed KP ex-law minister Sultan Khan and MPA Ubaid Mayar receiving money before the Senate elections of 2018.  Sultan stepped down saying that it was his moral duty to resign till the completion of an investigation.
