A meeting of the Punjab Apex Committee, chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, reviewed the progress on National Action Plan and vowed to continue efforts for elimination of terrorism and ensuring public security, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Apex Committee meeting which was held in Lahore was attended by Lahore Corps Commander, and other civil and military officials.

The meeting strongly condemned the cowardly terrorists attack on a mosque inside Peshawar Police Lines and expressed solidarity with people and law-enforcement institutions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The participants of the meeting reviewed in detail the issues relating to overall security situation in the province including the Safe City Project.

They also discussed in detail the effective arrangements regarding security for PSL 8, census and by-elections.
