Maryam visits CM Secretariat in Quetta, meets CM Bugti and cabinet

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visits Balochistan Chief Minister Secretariat in Quetta. 

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti and provincial cabinet members welcomed the CM. 

CM Bugti lauded the provision of Rs 10 billion for security forces by Punjab government and termed it as is a positive and commendable move. 

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti said that the government and the opposition in Balochistan were united for the welfare of the people. 

CM Maryam said she was happy on her maiden visit as Chief Minister to Balochistan. CM Maryam said that the passion of the people of Balochistan and their commitment to Pakistan were commendable. 

Maryam Nawaz said that Punjab government will provide all possible cooperation in the challenges faced by Balochistan government as well as the people. 

“We are with Balochistan, eradicating the menace of terrorism was possible with national unity”, Chief Minister Maryam. “We want to see peace, stability and prosperity in Balochistan”, Chief Minister Maryam concluded. 

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz arrived in Quetta on a one-day official visit on Tuesday, marking her first visit to Balochistan since assuming office.

She was received at Quetta Airport by Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, who welcomed her along with provincial ministers and senior officials.

During her visit, the Punjab chief minister is scheduled to meet Governor Mandokhail and hold discussions on matters of mutual interest between the two provinces. 

Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz will also express solidarity with families affected by recent terrorist incidents in Balochistan.
