Court awards 7-year in prison to accused for occupying widow’s house in Lahore 

Additional Sessions Judge Asad Hafeez has sentenced an accused, who occupied a widow's house in Lahore’s Jalo Pind, to seven years in prison, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs100,000 on the accused Muhammad Khaliq. The court ordered that if the accused does not pay the fine, he will have to serve another year in prison.
The plaintiff in the case, Shahnaz Akhtar, had died while pursuing the case, and her daughter, Fauzia, was now appearing in the court.
The court ordered SHO Batapur to immediately provide the possession to the children of the deceased and report to the court within a week.
The court declaring the other accused in the case Abid Ali as an absconder, issued his arrest warrants for not appearing in court. 
The accused had forcibly occupied the ten-marla house of widow Shahnaz Akhtar in Jalo Pind.
When the prosecution appeared, the court held a hearing and sent the accused Khaliq to jail for seven years.
