Govt allocates funds for Punjab Tourism Force and TDCP Resort upgradation
The Punjab government has allocated significant funds to boost tourism and development projects across the province, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.
A total of 200 million rupees has been released to the Tourism Department to establish the Punjab Tourism Force, aiming to enhance tourism management and services in key areas.
In addition, 10 crore rupees have been allocated for the upgradation of the TDCP Resort Jalo, ensuring improved facilities and infrastructure for visitors.
The Punjab Development Program has also received 45 crore rupees to support ongoing development initiatives.
The Finance Department has made the budget available online, facilitating transparent and efficient use of the funds.
These financial allocations are part of the provincial government’s broader efforts to promote tourism, improve infrastructure, and implement development programs throughout Punjab.
