Indonesian Investment Minister arrives in Islamabad for talks

Indonesian Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani arrived in Islamabad on the invitation of Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

According to a spokesperson from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the airport, the Director General for East Asia and the Pacific from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with the Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan, received the visiting minister.

During the visit, comprehensive talks are scheduled between Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Rosan Roeslani. 

The discussions are expected to focus on enhancing trade and investment between Pakistan and Indonesia.

The spokesperson further noted that the visit also includes meetings with the CEO of Indonesia’s sovereign wealth fund, Danatara, highlighting the potential for deeper economic collaboration.
