Sahibzada Frahan reaches 1000 T20I runs milestone
Pakistani opener Sahibzada Farhan reached 1000 T20 international runs in the World Cup Twenty20 match against United States of America, being played in Colombo on Tuesday.
Farhan is the 10th Pakistani batsman to reach the 1000-run mark in the shortest format of the game, a list led by the World’s top T20I run scorer, Babar Azam.
Farhan took 41 matches and as many innings to reach this milestone when he hit Milind Kumar for a six. Farhan’s 1000 runs come with an average of 25.71 and strike rate of 131.80 with the help of 80 boundaries and 56 sixes.
