Good news for PML-N, Ishaq Dar’s Senate membership restored from 2018

On the direction of the Supreme Court, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has restored Ishaq Dar's Senate membership on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Election Commission has also notified the restoration of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ishaq Dar's membership.
PML-N Senator Ishaq Dar had gone to London for his medical treatment. Ishaq Dar's membership was remained suspended from June 2018 to January 2022.
Now, the ECP has withdrawn its notification of suspension on June 29, 2018, and restored Ishaq Dar’s membership from March 9, 2018.
It is pertinent to mention here that under the new ordinance, the seat of a person who has not taken oath for 2 months will be considered vacant.
So, if Ishaq Dar will not come to Pakistan and take the oath, lose his seat.
