Verdict on appeal against Nawaz’s nomination from NA-130 tomorrow

 The reserved decision on appeal against the acceptance of the nomination papers of former premier Nawaz Sharif will be pronounced tomorrow ( Wednesday), 24NewsHD TV channel reports.

An appellate tribunal, consisting of Justice Rasaal Hasan Syed, Justice Rasaal Hasan Syed yesterday reserved its verdict on the appeal filed by Ishtiaq Ahmad Chaudhry, a lawyer against the acceptance Nawaz Sharif’s nomination papers from NA-130 Lahore.

He stressed that Nawaz Sharif could not contest an election due to lifetime disqualification held by the Supreme Court for a person disqualified under Article 62 (1) (f) of the Constitution.

Tomorrow is the last day for the Election Appellate Tribunals’ taking up election appeals.

The reserved decisions on appeals regarding the acceptance and rejection of nomination papers of key political figures will be pronounced tomorrow.

The decisions on the appeals against the rejection of the nomination papers of Parvez Elahi, Qaisara Elahi, Moonis Elahi, Mian Mehmoodur Rashid and Dr Yasmin Rashid will also be released tomorrow.
