22 flights affected due to fog at Lahore Airport

Dense fog disrupted flight operations as 22 domestic and international flights to and from Allama Iqbal International Airport affected, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to airport sources, 22 flights to and from Dubai, Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Istanbul, Doha, Karachi and Sharjah were delayed by two to five hours due to fog.

Visibility at Allama Iqbal International Airport had dropped to 50 meters.

Despite the fog, landing system at Allama Iqbal International Airport, the airline did not operate its flights. 

Saudi Etihad, AirBlue, PIA, Emirates Airline, Turkish Airlines and other airline lines were affected.
