Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina split shock: Is the Archies love story truly over?

Speculation is swirling around Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina, with growing reports suggesting that the young couple may have quietly gone their separate ways.

As of January 8, industry chatter has intensified, pointing to a possible breakup between the two actors who first sparked romance rumors during their debut project.

Neither Khushi nor Vedang has addressed the claims publicly, but the silence has only fueled curiosity. The news gained traction when entertainment journalist Vickey Lalwani shared an update on Instagram, stating that the actors had ended their relationship after more than two years together.

According to a source quoted in the report, "It’s over." The source further said, "Khushi and Vedang are not a couple anymore, but the reason for the break-up is not known. It’s something that has happened only very recently."

Their story reportedly began on the sets of Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, released in 2023. While Khushi played Betty and Vedang portrayed Reggie, those close to the production believed their off screen chemistry matched what viewers saw on camera. By 2024, the pair had perfected what many called a soft launch.

They were seen arriving together at Manish Malhotra’s Diwali party, spotted on multiple airport runs, and even attended family dinners with Khushi’s father, Boney Kapoor.

When the rumors were brought up on Koffee With Karan, Khushi brushed them aside with a smile, leaning into the familiar line of "we're just good friends."

The speculation deepened in April 2025 when Khushi shared photos wearing a delicate gold necklace bearing the initials V and K with a heart between them. Many read it as a subtle confirmation, especially as it echoed her sister Janhvi Kapoor’s well known Shiku necklace moment.

However, signs of distance soon followed. During Christmas 2025, Khushi and Vedang were part of the same friend group celebration, complete with a Secret Santa gift exchange. Yet photos from the gathering showed a noticeable shift. The two did not pose together, nor did they share any couple pictures, prompting questions about a possible rift.

Professionally, both actors appear focused on what lies ahead. Khushi is currently working on Mom 2, a sequel to her late mother Sridevi’s acclaimed film, while Vedang is preparing for an upcoming project alongside Diljit Dosanjh.
