Rain forces cancellation of Pakistan vs Bangladesh U19 warm-up match

A warm-up match between Pakistan and Bangladesh Under-19 teams was affected by rain and ultimately called off at the Masongo Sports Club in Zimbabwe on Saturday, 24NewsHD TV reported.

Pakistan U19 won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first.

The visitors managed 152 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 36.3 overs.

Ali Raza starred with the ball for Pakistan, claiming three crucial wickets, while Bangladesh’s Kalam Siddiqui remained unbeaten on 71 runs.

The washout denied both teams further practice ahead of the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026, which is set to begin on January 15 in Namibia and Zimbabwe.
