Maulana Tariq Jameel terms Imran Khan better ruler than others
Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel has termed Imran Khan a better ruler than others, reported 24News HD TV channel on Saturday.
Talking to 24News HD host Wajahat Khan, Maulana said that he had been meeting the political leaders since 1992 except Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, as he could not get an opportunity to meet her, and he had found Imran Khan better among others. He said after becoming prime minister, Imran Khan called him and sought his guidance that how our young generation could follow the path of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). “Then he told me that he wanted to organize my speeches in the educational institutions across the country,” he said and added that PM Khan asked him to tell the purpose of this life to the youngsters. But later on, he said, due to the coronavirus pandemic, we could not make it.
On a question regarding incumbent government performance, the Maulana said how a government could fix the problems of 70 years in a short time of three years. He said when a leader was good, then God provided him with good companions.
On a question regarding the MTJ brand, he said the purpose behind launching the business venture was not to make money but to provide funds for the religious seminaries run by him. We tried to make our institutions Zakat free, he said. He further said unfortunately people expected the Ulema to only sit in religious seminaries and teach the students there. He gave examples from the past that how companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) had been doing business.
He said we overburdened our kids by sending them to school at the age of three. He said a three-year kid needed the father and mother but unfortunately, parents did not have time for their kids.
