Islamabad administration imposed Section 144 again in the capital city on Sunday late at night for the next two months, reported 24News HD TV Channel.
According to the channel report, Islamabad Deputy Commissioner has also issued a notification of Section 144 and imposed a ban on public gatherings in the capital city.
As per the notification, there will be a complete ban on any kind of gatherings and processions in Islamabad as in the Capital Territory may be a potential protest which cannot be allowed.
In order to control the law and order situation, a ban was imposed on assemblies and processions, the notification said, adding that Section 144 will be applicable for two months and violators will be prosecuted under the law.
