Nawaz Sharif tasks district presidents to boost PML-N membership

Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) has decided to immediately complete the reorganization of the party and expand its membership base, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

In this regard, PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif assigned the task of increasing party membership to all district presidents.

According to sources, district presidents have been directed to complete the organization up to the grass root level.

The sources further said that district presidents have to complete the organization of PML-N up to the union councils and ward level and active and sincere workers were directed to be included in the party organization.

The divisional presidents of PML-N were also directed to complete the organization of the party, sources added.

Sources further said that PML-N chief Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will start regular meetings with divisional and district presidents from this month.

Nawaz Sharif will meet the organizational officials of division wise party, sources said.

It was directed to activate the primary units of PML-N.

In the upcoming local body elections only active and sincere workers will be given party tickets in district, town and union councils, sources concluded.
