Model Humaira Asghar’s death is a murder: police get new complaint

New developments have emerged in the case of actress and model Humaira Asghar as a woman named Dr Syeda Kainat has filed a complaint through the Prime Minister's Delivery Unit that the actress's death was a murder rather than a natural death, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

Police have confirmed about the new application. The letter mentions that the death of actress Humaira was not natural but an organized conspiracy, the complaint states. Humaira had “told me and my friend that the father of a doctor friend of hers raped Humaira”, the claim states. Humaira was exploited and pressured to have illicit relations with influential people, the complaint states.

She claimed Humira was also forcibly put on alcohol and crystal meth, ice, claims the complainant. Police confirmed receipt of the complaint sent through the Prime Minister's Portal. 

Petitioner's relationship with doctor soured 3 months back. The petitioner did not disclose his identity or contact number. No evidence was attached in the complaint. 

Police termed the complaint as suspicious but police have started further investigation into the complaint. Police said if the allegations were substantiated, the investigation will move forward in that direction. The police are already working on CDR and phone data. If suspicious contacts or evidence are found, the investigation will be carried out in that direction.
