13 more Khawarij killed over past 24 hours in "Operation Shaban" in Balochistan

Security Forces continued its "Operation Shaban" in Balochistan following the terrorist incident at the Mangi Dam police station and another 13 Khawarij have been killed over the past 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

According to security sources, the noose is being tightened further around Fitna-al-Khawarij in rugged mountainous terrain area of Balochistan as ground and aerial actions were underway. The security forces have already eliminated 26 Khawarij on July 6 and 7 and the total number of those eliminated during Operation Sha'ban has reached 39. 

Moreover, in addition to 'Operation Sha'ban,' a terrorist attack on a police station in the Khuzdar-Zaidi area was also repulsed this morning and 8 terrorists were eliminated during a swift operation by Army and Frontier Corps (FC) troops. 

Security sources report that another 5 to 6 terrorists have been killed in helicopter operations. Security sources state that a total of 75 terrorists have been eliminated in Operation Shabaan and other intelligence-based operations since July 5. 

President, PM hail success of Operation Shaban

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to the security forces for the success of Operation Shaban following the Mangi Dam Police Station incident.

In their separate statements, they praised the courage and professionalism of the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, and Balochistan Police.

The President said the country's enemies are attempting to undermine Pakistan's recent diplomatic achievements by using proxy militants.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed that security forces and the nation has an unwavering resolve to completely eliminate Fitna-ul-Khawarij.

He expressed nation's resolve to foil every attempt to disrupt peace in Balochistan.
