Unity brings strength or destruction is yet to be seen as three sisters who had married three brothers have filed cases in a session court of Lahore demanding handing over of their children, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The unique marriage of three brothers with three sisters was on the rocks as one of the sisters had an argument with her husband and went to her parents house, the remaining two followed her. Now all the three have moved court against their husbands.

The three sisters have requested the court that they have eight children, two of them are with them and the remaining six are with their husbands. They asked the court to direct their husbands to hand over the children to them.

The three brothers –Irfan, Rizwan and Adnan – along with the six children appeared in the court on Wednesday. One of them said “It was a mistake to marry the three sisters and they got enraged and left the house in procession.”

He further said they were now at their parents house and are demanding divorce. “We tried out best to bring them back but Anam Shahzadi, Mehwish Bibi and Farzana Bibi are sticking to their guns,” he added.

Shafiqabad Police Station personnel escorted the husbands and their children to the court on Wednesday but the hearing was adjourned to Thursday (tomorrow) as Additional Sessions Judge Muzaffar Shahzad was on leave.
