Novelist, radio person Shama Khalid passes away

Mrs Shama Khalid, retired deputy controller of Radio Pakistan and lecturer at the Fatima Jinnah University, passed away after a heart attack on Tuesday. She was 74. 

Shama was a famous novelist and writing coordinator at Atraf Magazine. She joined Radio Pakistan as a script writer in 1969. Her funeral prayers will be offered at the Army Graveyard, Race Course, Rawalpindi Cantonment, at 5PM on Wednesday (March 10). 

Soyem of Mrs Shama Khalid will be held at her residence, House number 400/17-C, Lane-7, Peshawar Road, Rawalpindi Cantonment, at 5:15 PM on March 11.
